The Story of Light of Hope

Light of Hope is a small, but growing, faith-based business; located in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. I am passionate about my faith in Jesus Christ and want to make this a place where people from all backgrounds can feel welcome to shop and go away from their experience here, at Light of Hope, feeling better than when they came on here! I strive to make everyone know that regardless of who they are or what they've done, that there's a Mighty God, a Creator, who loves them more than they'll ever know; so much so, that He gave His only begotten Son for them, so that they would not perish but have everlasting life! (John 3:16). If anyone would've told me a couple years ago that in January of 2022, I would be opening a completely faith-based and Christ-centered online shop, I probably would've laughed and brushed it off as a joke. I wasn't always a believer, if anything I was even agnostic/borderline atheist at one time. I dove into just about every religion possible, and even had my own new age etsy page in the past, yet even after success and searching for truth in every possible other religion/belief system, I realized I was still empty even after obtaining material things and doing a bunch of different guided/eastern meditations. I realized that there had to be more and continued to hunger for TRUTH! The Bible says that the truth sets us free (John 8:32), and it's true! Jesus snatched me up, like the sheep that had gotten away, and showed me the way. That night I decided to give up everything I knew to follow Jesus. There was no preacher to lead me to repentance, it's like I somehow just knew in my heart I had to repent and that even though I was giving up everything, that I would have so much more in this Jesus that I didn't even know. God changed my life for the best and I'm dedicated to sharing my testimony, but I also want to make a platform to share others' testimonies! Everyone has a story, and it is so powerful when we share what God has done for us!
